PC's do not have the ability to play guitar through a USB naturally. Our program asks you to choose your sound device so it knows where to process the guitar sound.

One is not necessarily better than the other. Test them both and see which you prefer.

You can learn, practice and perform with any speakers. However, the better the speakers, the more range and quality of sound you will receive. Small onboard speakers may sound "tinny" or lack low frequencies, so consider including some quality speakers in your learning.

Yes it is. While the Stealthplug^® needs to be plugged in to a USB slot, you can plug the other end into an acoustic-electric if possible, or simply leave the cable loose. You won't be able to take the performance exams or use X-Gear, but the lessons and practices are all available.
