| I first saw Raw Talent Guitar on TV during a commercial break for South Park. I
previously had no musical background whatsoever, but I always wanted to play
an instrument. I went out and got a pretty cheap Fender Stratocaster ($250) and I
ordered the Raw Talent Guitar software.
I had a couple of days to wait until the software came in the mail so I went online and watched some of the YouTube guitar training videos available. These videos were horrible!!! Most of them were "teaser" videos where they wanted me to pay over $20 a month, and they looked like they were recorded with a cheap webcam and no microphones. When Raw Talent finally came I was very excited. After the install I got right to the lessons. From the first lesson I could see that these were different from the online videos. You could tell Padraig was an experienced instructor who knew how to explain the concepts. The videos were also HD and they sound was great. So now I'm on my way. It's been a month and my favorite thing about the software is the ability to play along with the instructor, and the evaluator. I like knowing that I am playing a "C" chord incorrectly, and not wondering if it sounds right or not. I also love the amp and effects. I can put on a cool effect and practice with Padraig, or even take a test with it!! I can't wait until I'm good enough to play with all the Bonus tracks (I try now but it's a little too advanced for me) also. I definitely see myself becoming a guitarist and using Raw Talent for the next few years, and it was totally worth the money (and the wait!) Brian M. - Florida Go Back |
