Raw Talent is a Florida-based music education company, co-founded in 2009, and launched their flagship product, Raw Talent Guitar, at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The product appeared at SXSW 2011 in Austin and many other trade shows.

We are looking for a media relations intern to assist the Director of Media Relations with hands-on work including contacting reporters, writing press release drafts, pitching our product and story to the press and more.

You must be a university student with transportation to our offices at the address below. You must love music, and you must be able to multitask.

The ideal candidate has studied public relations, advertising, journalism or social media, and has a strong grasp on current events and the tools that keep us in touch with the world around us.

We wear many hats at Raw Talent, and we need someone who can work in many different directions, all under the umbrella of Media Relations. This includes advertisers, reporters, editors, promotional products printers, trade show executives, and more. You must have expertise in digital promotions and social media, and you must think like an advertiser.

HTML and Web design are a plus, as Raw Talent Guitar is available on our Web site only at this time. We are working to grow our product and brand, and we are currently speaking with distribution channels to place our product in stores such as Guitar Center and Sam Ash.

We have appeared in major publications and television broadcasts, and as a Raw Talent intern, you will have hands-on experience in the real world. Additionally, we are in our first round of seed funding to raise $1 million from investors by the end of Q4. We will soon produce Raw Talent Piano, Raw Talent Drums and Raw Talent Bass.
