When we decided to teach you Animal by Neon Trees for this edition Tutorial Tuesday, we had no idea that it would be such a long instruction. In fact, we’ve had to break this video up into two different parts.

This week, we’re teaching you the intro for both guitars – guitar #1 & guitar #2 – because there are two different parts of the song to learn on guitar in this lesson video.

And once we started, we knew we had to finish, so even though this video only teaches you the intro for both guitars, which is the same thing as the chorus, make sure you come back next week for the second part of the song, where we’ll teach you the verses and the bridge.

Plus, we’re taking requests from our fans on YouTube and from our customers. We still can’t promise a brand new video every week, but we’re trying, so keep those requests coming.

As for Animal, by Neon Trees, this is a great song to play with your friends, or even just one other friend on guitar. It’s certainly cool to play two different parts on two different guitars with a friend to hear that accompany.
