Raw Thoughts

When we decided to revolutionize the at-home music education industry, we had an interesting discussion among team members.  What kind of company do we want Raw Talent to be?  Sure, we want to make great products (and we have – check out our flagship product, Raw Talent Guitar), but we want to really work with students to get them learning music.  Our relationship does not end with the sale, its just the beginning.

In support of our goal to be a contributing member of society, we looked for a partner organization that represents our ideals and is focused on ensuring music education remains an important part of any person’s career learning journey.  After all, we’re all constantly learning and growing, and it’s never too late to pick up a software or training tool to learn guitar.

For each sale of Raw Talent Guitar, we contribute financially to the Fender Music Foundation.  Fender was a natural choice for Raw Talent to partner with.  Besides having an affinity for their guitars, we also like that they use Amplitube (by IK Multimedia) for their digital amp and effects as we do.  We partner with them and proudly display their logo on our homepage in the hopes that the foundation will grow and achieve their goals.  Times are certainly tough financially these days, and school budgets have many competing priorities to say the least.  Its great that Fender has chosen to be part of the voice that stands up for the music departments and budgets across America.

The Fender Music Foundation has a great mission, part of which is “to provide funding and resources for music programs across America so that kids and adults alike will have an opportunity to experience the joys of music.”  We couldn’t say it better ourselves.
