If you’re just starting out, you are most likely eager to learn as many songs as you can. But what if you just don’t have all that time on your hand? Well, luckily, Steve form Guitar Zoom has shared a video explaining how to play ten different songs with just three chords. Yeah, you might want to jump at learning all those different chord progressions and all that, but why not just learn a bunch of songs and have fun with them first and then switch to something more complex.
These the chords are G major, C major, and D major. And it doesn’t matter how exactly you play them, you just need to know these three chords. Some of the songs are:
- Sublime – “What I Got”
- Lynyrd Skynyrd – “Sweet Home Alabama”
- Warren Zevon – “Werewolves of London”
- The Marshall Tucker Band – “Can’t You See”
- George Thorogood – “Get a Haircut”
